The “Process”

So all of this sounds great so far, but what are you really getting into with all of this….?

Have no fear! The process is pretty simple.

It goes like this:

  1. Schedule a discovery call with me. We will spend a few minutes discussing your goals, dreams, and plans. If we are digging it (aka seems like a good fit), we’ll dive in! I’m nice, I promise.

  • Once we’ve identified your needs, I’ll follow up with a no-pressure proposal and contract based on what we talked about.

  • If you love it (which you will!), you sign the contract and pay a 50% deposit.

  • I get to work writing! You can expect completed copy by our agreed upon deadline (always!)

  • You share any edits - one round of edits is always included in the cost. At this point the remaining 50% payment is due. (If you book a monthly retainer project, payment will continue on a monthly basis).

  • We celebrate! On to the next!

  • A good copywriter can do wonders for your business! Not only will regular content help you soar to the top of search engines, but you will establish a clear voice and build a dedicated community of people who actually want what you have to offer. A good copywriter encourages people to act - which means you receive better engagement, more views, and more revenue. A copywriter saves you time by doing the heavy lifting of SEO research, writing high quality content, and getting your brand in front of the right audience. EVERY business can benefit from a good copywriter.

  • This process work best for those who are ready to invest as soon as possible in a high quality copywriter to boost their business. But I also understand that sometimes life gets in the way! If we finish our call and you decide that now is not the right time, you have no obligation to book my services. My calendar does fill up quickly, however, and I make no guarantees about future availability of my services.

  • The discovery call is where we get to know each other! This is an informal introduction to decide if we are a good fit to work together. Some questions you can expect to discuss include:

    • Why are you looking for a copywriter at this time?

    • What are your short term and long term goals for yourself and for your business?

    • What are some of the pain points you experience running your business?

    • What types of copy are you interested in receiving?

    After about 15 minutes, we will decide whether or not we are a good fit for one another. If not - no hard feelings! If so - awesome! We can extend the call to begin talking specifics and dig deeper. I always block off up to one hour per call, just in case.

  • The process is pretty simple! It looks like this:

    • Schedule a discovery call, during which we will discuss your goals, dreams, and plans. You can book a time with me here.

    • Once we have identified your needs, I will send over a proposal and contract based on what was discussed.

    • You sign the contract! At this point, a 50% deposit is required.

    • I get to work writing. You can expect a completed piece of copy by the deadline agreed upon (typically one week after signing of the contract)

    • You share any edits - one round of edits is always included in the cost. At this point the remaining 50% payment is due.

    • We celebrate! On to the next!

  • Possibly! The copy listed in my services is what I am best at, and is the most requested. But every business is different! If you have other ideas, please share them during our call and we can work together to come up with a plan that makes the most sense for your needs.

  • In the unlikely event that I deliver something to you that feels way off base - let’s chat. I want, more than anything, for you to feel completely satisfied with our time together. And I genuinely want your business to soar! One round of edits is typically included in each contract, but if a piece completely misses the mark, I will work to ensure that you are 100% satisfied! Guaranteed.
